Great Forest

A large temperate forest which separates [[Eusaria]] from the [[Ex Mortia/Locations/Kingdom of Eusia/Duchy of Summervale/Duchy of Summervale|Duchy of Summervale]].

There are certainly cottages of friendly woodsmen, but no large settlements. Worship of [[Ex Mortia/Gods and Greater Powers/Good/Xenegos|Xenegos]] was common among the merry folk who live there. The King's Highway ran through here, as did most trade to and from the capital and Summervale. As such, the road was rich with both wealthy merchants and well to do nobles. The presence of crime along this stretch has thusly always been a pressing concern of the Crown, and so proper military patrols take place on a regular basis. That being said, they rarely stray from the road itself, and the surrounding wood is verdant and thick with cover.
